Carers Week 8-14 June - Peeps - HIE Awareness & Support

Carers Week 8-14 June

Carers Week 8-14 June

  • Sarah Land

With the focus of carers’ week 2020 being “making caring visible” we wanted to shout out and recognise all those who, as a result of HIE, have carer responsibilities. You may be in employment, you may have had to leave work, you may have other children or parents to look after, you may be juggling 101 things on a daily basis…whatever your situation, you don’t have to face it alone.

We’ll be continuing to send out our “Little Packs of Calm’ to those affected by HIE, to let them know we are thinking of them, and to encourage taking just little time out for themselves. If you’d like to nominate someone (or yourself), just drop us a message!

If you could do with a little extra support, a shoulder to lean on or a kind ear to listen, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can either message, email or fill in the quick referral form here.

It’s nice to hear that our packs have been well received. As always, sending our love and best wishes to those who get them, especially at such a difficult time with COVID restrictions. Here if we can support in any way at all 💗

Huge thanks to @PeepsHie for continuing to provide us with these amazing goodie bags for our Mums and Dads! They absolutely love them!! (Posted with permission). @SarahFullwood1 @nfish83 @jbd_01 @Boffey1 @rachaelwhitting @StockportNHS 2

If you're supporting families affected by #HIE, please get in contact if you would like our free parent packs to give out. There's also a quick referral form (for you or them to complete) to ensure we can help support in the best way possible 👉
