Are you ready to BRAVE THE BRICKS? 🧱

After the success of our Fire Walk a few years ago, we’re excited to be bringing you a brand new challenge – the Peeps Lego Walk!

This fun (and possibly painful 😬!) fundraising event will see you walk across a path of LEGO bricks barefoot or in your socks, whilst helping us to raise vital funds to continue and grow our support for HIE families across the UK.

Date: Thursday 8^th October 2026, 4-7PM (drop-in event, come along at a time that suits you).

Adults – £25 (minimum fundraising target £50)

Children 8+ – £15 (minimum fundraising target £20)

Every bit of fundraising from this event will help Peeps continue our mental health and wellbeing support services, in-person and online events and activities for families, information services and more.

What is a Lego Walk?

You’ll be invited to take on a path made from LEGO bricks, putting your feet to the test as you make your way across. You can complete the challenge barefoot or wearing socks – so you can choose how brave you’re feeling!

The event will be facilitated by Fundraising Firewalk, who will be there to guide participants through the experience and help make sure everyone knows what to expect.

You won’t be thrown straight onto the bricks without knowing what you’re doing! You’ll receive guidance from the event team before taking on the challenge.

The event will take place at Hollinwood Business Centre, Albert Street, Oldham, OL8 3QL. The home of Peeps’ new office!

Parking: Free car parking is available at the venue. Parking must be validated at the onsite reception on entry or exit.

☕ Refreshments

Refreshments will be available at the event, so you can refuel before or after your Lego Walk!

LEGO WALK FAQ’S

Do I have to walk barefoot?

No! Participants can complete the Lego Walk barefoot or wearing socks. It’s up to you.

Do I need to complete the walk at a particular time?

No. This is a drop-in event, so you can attend at any point between 4pm and 7pm. Safety briefings will be provided throughout the event. Give yourself enough time to register, receive your safety briefings from the team before taking on your walk.

Is the Lego Walk suitable for children?

It is advised that children who take part alone are aged 8 and over. Younger children and toddlers may walk with family members.

Entry for a child over 8 is £15, with a minimum fundraising target of £20. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times at this event.

Do I need to fundraise?

As this is a fundraising event, participants are asked to raise a minimum amount in addition to their entry fee:

• Adults: £50 minimum fundraising target
• Children: £20 minimum fundraising target

How do I fundraise?

JustGiving is the easiest and best way to fundraise for a challenge. It’s really easy to get set up, but we can help with anything if needed!

We also have a sponsorship form if you’d like to collect donations in-person from friends, family, neighbours and colleagues.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing! You’ll need to remove your shoes and socks if you choose to do the walk barefoot.

Will it hurt?

It won’t be the most comfortable experience, we’re not going to lie! Walking on Lego is completely safe, and the challenge is designed to be fun.

It’s up to you if you decide to walk barefoot or in socks. You can also walk more than once to try both ways…!

Who is running the Lego Walk?

The event will be facilitated by Fundraising Firewalk, an experienced event team who will guide participants through the challenge.

Is there parking?

Free car parking is available at Hollinwood Business Centre. Please remember that parking must be validated at the onsite reception on entry or exit. There are also posters around the building to do this, and we will remind you.

There are also disabled parking bays and electric charging points on-site.

Will there be refreshments?

Refreshments will be provided at the event.

Can I come along to support someone without taking part?

Spectators are welcome to come along and support you. Please confirm this with us so we know how many people to expect! The venue has a room capacity limit.

If your spectators decide to take part on the day, we will be able to take a donation payment through card or cash.

What happens if I change my mind on the day?

This is absolutely fine! Walking on LEGO is certainly a challenge and we understand if you change your mind on the day. You would be welcome to transfer your Lego Walk attendance to someone else attending with you on the day.

We won’t be able to issue any refunds for places not used.
