Our expertise and experience
We understand the unique challenges faced by families when their child has been injured at birth. Stewarts has successfully investigated and concluded numerous birth injury claims for our clients which have resulted in multi-million pound settlements that provide financial for their lifetime. Our lawyers only handle between 10 and 12 cases at any one time, a much smaller number than at other law firms. Our ultimate goal is to help our clients lead full and active lives. We therefore prioritise accessing specialist rehabilitation and treatment as early as possible. We have an in-house Rehabilitation Coordinator available to advise and assist our clients. We have offices in London and Leeds but provide a national service and will always visit our clients in hospital, at their home or at any location that is convenient to them.
Pro bono advice
In addition to the support we provide to clients by pursuing compensation claims on their behalf, Stewarts is unique amongst serious injury law firms in having a dedicated Pro Bono (free of charge) team whose role is to support people who have sustained serious injuries or who are critically ill. They can advise on various legal issues including welfare benefits, financial issues, critical illness/personal accident/ill health insurance policies, employment and housing.
