Here’s the thing about HIE…
We’d love as many people to be involved as possible, spreading the word about HIE and helping us reach more families.
It stands for hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy…which is hard to spell and even harder to say! HIE doesn’t discriminate – it could happen to anyone, and there isn’t a way of predicting it HIE affects around 4 in every 1000 births Whilst you may not choose to join the HIE club, you’ll soon find if you do there’s a whole community of support, you’re not on your own….Peeps on Twitter
