International Nurses Day

Today (May 12th) is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, and is celebrated with International Nurses Day. Florence Nightingale was known as the “Founder of Modern Nursing”, with a drive to improve hospital efficiency and standards.

With over 770,000* nurses in the UK, we’d like to give a special shout out to those who look after our Little HIEroes, those who go above and beyond, who sit along side us on the difficult days and help us celebrate the inch stones.

Thank you.
