Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place 9-15 May 2022. The theme this year is loneliness.

“Part of the reason we set Peeps up was because we knew how lonely and isolating it could feel when your baby has an HIE diagnosis. When it happened to us, in 2015, we were lucky to find an online closed parents’ group (The HIE Network Forum); without them and the mums and dads who welcomed us, I don’t want to think how alone we would have been. #IveBeenThereSarah, Charity Manager

One of our aims at Peeps is to reach all families touched by HIE, bring the community together, and make sure that no-one feels they are on their own.

Whether it’s through social media, signposting to the forum, peer support, or funding for professional therapy, we’re here for you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
