New peer support group

We know from talking to our families that the idea of joining a support group, or reaching out to others, can be daunting. It can be even more scary if you are new to the world of HIE and don’t know what the future might hold. So we listened, and thanks to one of our parent volunteers, a new peer support group has been set up.

Little HIEroes is aimed at those with younger children, or at the start of their HIE journey, but of course everyone touched by HIE is welcome. It’s a safe environment where you can access support and share with other families.

To join the group click here. If you’re not on Facebook and would like to join the WhatsApp group please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We’re here for you.
