Our 2025 Christmas Appeal

2025 has been a bumper year for Peeps!

It has been a year of growth and change for Peeps – we’ve introduced lots of new ways to support families, including:

  • Online watercolour art sessions for parents and carers
  • Our Equipment Fund grants have increased from £500 to £800 per family
  • Introduced face-to-face Peer Support provided by our wonderful volunteers, as well as growing our online offering
  • Bereavement Peer Support
  • Online Music Therapy & Evening Lullaby Sessions
  • Peeps Together – Zoo events
  • Peeps Together – Brunch meet ups for families
  • Two trips to Bendrigg Trust!
  • A Transport Fund to support families with getting to and from Peeps Together events
  • & a festive wreath making class!

572 H.I.E. families are registered and receiving support from us. On average, 15 new families reach out for support each month!

We’d love to share the many ways you can support Peeps this Giving Tuesday, throughout the festive season, and into 2026. We are endlessly grateful to you for being a part of our community and following our journey. Thank you for your support!

£15 could fund one of our parent packs that are given out to families in hospital after their child’s H.I.E. event. They contain gentle information and comfort items to support at a difficult time.

£20 allows us to send a ‘Coffee Pot’ voucher to families in hospital for an extended stay, allowing families to get a hot drink, a cake and sandwich without worrying about the cost.

£60 pays for a counselling session, available to anyone affected by H.I.E.

£80 pays for an EMDR therapy session, helping parents work through traumatic experiences linked with the H.I.E. event.

£100 is the average cost for room/centre hire for our Peeps Together events.

We have lots of exciting things coming up in 2026, including our first-ever H.I.E. Conference, a fundraising Manchester Canal Trek and the introduction of yoga and journaling sessions for families.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our social media, and sign-up to receive updates via our newsletters here.

If you know of a family in need of our support – please let them know we are here to support whenever the time is right.

If you are able to support Peeps in any way, we would love to hear from you.

Wishing your family all the very best for the festive season and into 2026, from all the Team at Peeps,

Sarah, Matthew, Laura, Liz, Penny, Jess, Aishat, Kirsty and Leah
