Peer support training opportunity
There has been some great feedback from our current Peer Support Volunteers who are in the middle of their training via With-You. We’re therefore pleased to say that further places are available for their next cohort, starting at the end of the month (March 2023).
The course is part-time, 10am-1pm on a Monday and Wednesday, over 8 weeks between 27th March and 28th June. Funding is also available, via a grant from Health Education England, to help with equipment and any additional expenses. It is a significant commitment and we can’t say thank you enough to those who have already given so much of their time. We fully appreciate that these hours may not be possible for everyone, so are looking at alternatives (covering evening / weekends) and will keep you updated.
