We were extremely grateful to be chosen as Plane Talking Products Chosen Charity for 2025!

The entire team at PTP have been incredibly supportive to our Peeps team this year and have supported us in lots of different ways, including:

Donating a raffle prize for our Blooms & Brunch event, helping us to raise essential funds.
Managing Director, Richard, took on the London Marathon and raised an incredible £600 for us!
Fundraised in partnership with a local nursery and held a raffle, raising a total of £900. Not only did this event raise funds, but information about Peeps and H.I.E. was also shared in the local community!
Hosted an H.I.E. Awareness Day BBQ with the entire team!
Sharing and supporting our social media posts and events with their professional networks, and featured us on their website.
Included one of our little Peeps bears in a children’s amenity pack at an aviation conference.

Operations Manager at PTP, Jemma Moore, shared her experiences of H.I.E. after the birth of her son Luca, with her colleagues – which led to the relationship between PTP and Peeps forming. Luca experienced an H.I.E. event at birth, and whilst in NICU, Luca’s family received a Peeps parent pack.

“Peeps was a huge help to us when we found ourselves requiring help and an understanding of H.I.E. We had no idea what it was and when our son, Luca, was born unexpectedly in poor condition in 2023, it was explained to us that he had in fact suffered from an H.I.E. event. On admission to the NICU, we were given a Peeps bag full of information that gave us much more detail, understanding and hope from stories of other families that we found on the charity website. The website alone gave us the knowledge and support we required to navigate any potential outcome for Luca and I am delighted that our company can offer our support for 2025 to give back to a charity that means so much to my family and I.”

Our parent packs contain gentle information and practical items that make a stay in hospital that little bit easier, (not that it’s ever easy!). They contain leaflets and information about H.I.E., and Peeps, refraining from scary medical jargon. They also contain some practical goodies such as mini toiletries, a tote bag, a collapsible water bottle, a notepad and pen – as well as some comfort items such as a baby grow and a pair of bonding hearts for families to use whilst babies are in NICU.

Parent packs are a vital piece of our jigsaw of support, and many families find out about Peeps in the early days of an H.I.E. journey through being given one of these packs whilst in NICU.
